Here are some photos of the Dodge Ram we got to replace the Suburban.

It's a 2500 V10 Quad Cab 4x4 SLT Sport. Of course you can't seat eight adults in it like you can with a Suburban but the A/C blows cold and everything works. 7,500 miles so far and not a single break down or major component failure. It doesn't rattle and squeak like a Suburban either. It's such a relief.

Of course not everyone is having such a great time with their Dodge - don't forget to check out the Dodge lemons on our links page. I sincerely hope I never have to deal with the notorious Chrysler customer service (shudder). Still, they can hardly be worse than GM.

No, I never did take the Suburban off-road. It felt like it would rattle itself to pieces on paved roads and I didn't want to stray too far from civilization in case it needed a tow.
